Lankhorst supplies critical plastic pipeline protection products to the Offshore Oil and Gas industry. You are responsible for project management during the execution of complex projects. The scope of these projects can range from €1000 to in the millions of Euros, with each project having unique requirements. You will be working within the business unit Lankhorst Engineered Products – Offshore, which has a dedicated international team, with the projects team based in Sneek and a sales team based also in the USA and Malaysia. The working language with our clients is English. In this role you will report to the Manager Offshore Department, and will work on site in our office in Sneek. 

You will be responsible for coordinating the activities between all relevant internal parties (including Production, Engineering, Purchasing and Sales) so that projects are executed according to schedule, budget and the agreements with the customer. This includes the evaluation of an order, the kick off of a project, supporting development and production and finally closure. You will also monitor quality requirements. You are the primary contact between Lankhorst and our customers from order acceptance onwards. 

Aside the project management, duties include defining the products needed for a project, preparing technical project documentation and procedures, coordinating with engineering and procurement, preparing and executing product testing and planning shipments, invoicing and exporting of shipments as well as keeping our clients up to date with progress.


Function Requirements

  • HBO with a technical basis providing ability to understand technical drawings and follow calculations;
  • 1-3 years of experience in a comparable function (for example project management, planner)
  • Good and clear communicator in English and Dutch, both written and spoken
  • Accurate and precise
  • Able to keep track of multiple projects and switch quickly between them
  • A combination of a team worker and a leader
  • A hands-on and practical mentality
